三月卅日 星期一 晨霜後晴
在木樁頭,
From the top of the wooden post,
在鄰舍農地上.
On the farm land of the neighbor's.
眼耳鼻都用著,
With her eyes, ears and nose,
村貓掃尋地鼠.
Country cat scanned for the gophers.
下了木樁,
Down she went,
牠躲進綠草浪.
Hiding into wavy green grass.
村貓, 可有收獲?

這隻貓看起來乾乾淨淨 且肥肥胖胖 不像是村貓 像是從有愛心的好人家裡走出來郊遊的寵物
它倒懂得爬高搜尋獵物 很聰明的
