蘋果花正盛,
The apples are in blossom,
粉白帶薇紅.
Pinkish white with a dash of rose.
蜂採忙匆匆,
Scurried bees and butterflise,
美果始長成.

紫藤花 The westeria flowers

飛揚,飛揚, 優雅的芭雷舞者,
Up, up, Graceful ballet dancers,
飄搖,飄搖, 串串的紫藤花朵.
Dangle, dangle, clusters of westeria flowers.
隨著柔柔輕風,
Before the gentle breeze,
紫藤盛大演出.
Westeria put on a spectacular show.
無花無朵,紫藤怎稱紫藤?
Without flowers, how can a westeria be a westeria?
只不過是葉綠濃藤.

小鴨鴨 The little ducklings

出殼之後,
After breaking through,
小鴨鴨累翻了.
The little ducklings are exhaustively worn-out.
有些還在努力破殼,
Some still work hard on the shells.
馬上就要出殼.

While I worked far by the grass area,
你看見了我,

你呼叫著我.
You called me.
你向我過來,
You came to me as usual,
我不再理睬.
I responded no more.
小可愛,這就是做羊的代價啊!
Sweetie, you gotta pay for being a goat!
瞥見你不爽的走開,
Then I caught a glimpse of you walking away melancholy,
我已淚珠成串.

春風 Spring breeze
四月五日 星期六 晴多雲
淡如新枝染鮮嫩,
Gentle as the crispy fresh twigs,
柔若絲絨般平滑,
Soft as a smooth silk velvet,
暖似母愛意親近.
Warm as the amiable mother's love.
陽光明燦 相伴相隨,
Along with the brightest sunshine,
夜來和風 盡入美夢.

柳樹梢 On top of the willow

站在柳樹稍,
On top of the willow,
核桃或山楂頂尖,
The tips of the walnut, or the hawthorn,
甚至高高電線桿.
Even high up the power post.
我歡唱, 帶給全世界,
To the whole world beneath, I sing gleefully
婉囀輕歌不間斷.

野芥菜 Wild mustard

雨水滋潤了田土,
Rain nourished the ground,
巨大野芥菜處處.
Giant wild mustards all around.
我手不停歇,
I just could not stop
採摘綠芥葉.
Picking the greens from the stalk.
農家食譜----野芥菜素小炒
Farmer's simple food----Stir-fried wild mustard
野芥菜一把, 筍一個, 豆腐乾三,四塊.
A handful of wild mustard, 1 bamboo shoot, 3 or 4 Tofu cakes.
野芥菜葉撕小片.
Wild mustard leaves tore into small peices.
筍切細絲.
Bamboo shoot sliced into julienne strips.
豆腐乾切細絲.
Tofu cakes sliced into julienne strips.
熱油鍋先下豆干絲, 略翻炒至軟.
High heat the oil in stir-fry pan, stir-fry Tofu cake strips till get soft.
加入筍絲炒約一分鐘.
Add bamboo shoot strips and stir for about 1 minute.
加野芥菜片, 炒至變色.
Add wild mustard peices and stir until green loses its raw look.
加鹽.
Add salt as desired.

三月卅日 星期一 晨霜後晴
在木樁頭,
From the top of the wooden post,
在鄰舍農地上.
On the farm land of the neighbor's.
眼耳鼻都用著,
With her eyes, ears and nose,
村貓掃尋地鼠.
Country cat scanned for the gophers.
下了木樁,
Down she went,
牠躲進綠草浪.
Hiding into wavy green grass.
村貓, 可有收獲?
