早已過了復活節找蛋.
Easter egg hunting is way over.
一天又一天,
Day by day,
我還在到處找蛋.
I'm searching for the eggs everywhere.
大概猜猜看,
Take a wild guess,
窩裡有幾枚蛋?
How many eggs are in the nest?
看不見的蛋有幾枚?
How many eggs are invisible?

無邊浪牆一排排,
Endless long line of spray walls,
後浪追前浪.
One after another.
燈塔憂切急呼喚,
Anxously the lighthouse calls,
漁人歸來!
Coming home, fisher!

Nung-fu said, "There's a cat in the willow tree."
我奇怪, "阿狗為何不叫?"
I wondered, "Why the dog is not barking?'
歌聲沙啞刺耳,
In a hoarse and raucous voice,
黑鳥輕快喵喵喵.
A black bird briskly meawing with joy.
鳥媽媽說的, "人類雙語,
Mama bird said so, "Not only human being,
鳥類亦需."
But also birds take second language."

Three black-necked stilts were companies,
自備高蹺渉淺灘.
Wading on their own stilts.
一個說, " 從未來過此處."
One said, "Never been here before."
另一個說, "岸邊很多食物."
The other said, "Plenty food by the shore."
還是帶頭的小心,"不宜久留."
But the leader on alert, "Better not stay too long."
高腳鳥展翼飛去.
Winging in the air they gone.

紫花亮麗盛開.
Redbud splendidly in full bloom.
我到田地摘些嫩脆的生菜,
I picked some tender crispy greens, such as dandelions and arugulas, from the field,
加一手把紫花.
With a handful of redbud blossoms.
農夫看見晚餐桌上有紫花沙拉,
Nung-fu saw the redbud salad at dinner table,
他說, "我不吃."
He said, "I don't like it."
我嘗紫花沙拉.
I savored the salad.
甜美的紫花花蜜在我齒頰留香.
The sweetish redbud nectar was unforgetable.
第一次,
For the first time,
紫花滿滿撒.
Redbud blossoms to be consumed perfusively.

草裡抓蟲吃,

高空中盤旋,
Cruising on above,
鷹隼在偷窺.
Peeping falcon,
誰管你呀?

農夫跳下耕耘機, 說, "我們晚上吃醃牛肉."
Nung-fu jumped off his tractor, and said, "Let's get corned beef for dinner."
愛爾蘭人傳統上在三月十七日過聖派翠克節, 也是春天的開始, 吃醃牛肉和包心菜.
Traditionally the Irish have corned beef with cabbage on St.Patrick's day, March 17th, also the beginning of spring.
本地超市早已為顧客將多種醃牛肉, 包心菜, 洋蔥及一些蔬菜集攏在促銷櫃檯.
In the local super market, different packages of corned beef, cabbages, onions and some other veggies have already been thoughtfully collected in the show case for customers. 鹽醃牛肉使包心菜愈增甜滋滋.
Corned beef makes the cabbage even sweeter.
農家食譜----醃牛肉
Farmer's simple food----Corned beef with cabbage
材料-------醃牛肉(熟或不熟,我選不熟的), 包心菜, 其他蔬菜隨意.
Corned beef(cooked or uncooked, I prefer uncooked),
cabbage, other veggies if desired.
做法-------鍋中水蓋過醃牛肉,大火煮滾.
Method---Water cover corned beef in pot, bring to boil.
倒下附贈的香料.
Pour the contents of spice package.
小火燜煮約二至三小時,至叉子可插進肉裡.
Cover pot and simmer for about 2-3 hours til fork tender.
包心菜葉片與醃牛肉同煮約三分鐘至菜葉軟.
Cabbage leaves cook with corned beef for about 3 minutes til tender.
趁熱食用.
Serve hot.
駕駛耕耘機奔波忙.

山頭白雪皚皚.
Snow on top of the hills.
轟轟烈烈, 春來了.
Spring is here triumphantly. 東邊飄雪西邊晴.

水仙洋水仙之類的球莖花期過後,
After bulbous plants, such as narcissuses, daffodils, are out of bloom,
用葉片捆綁葉子成束.
Tie them up into bunddles with their strap shaped leaves.
葉子不斷吸收養分助益球根茁長.
Let the leaves keep taking the nutrient to nurish the bulbs.
明年花開更多.
The flowers are getting more next year.

嗡嗡飛舞花間.
Buzzing around the brimless flower sea,
埋首花中,
Head and ears in,
倒掛金鉤.
Heels over my head.
滿載了花蜜.
Heavily loaded with honey.
噢!女王會多麼高興,
Oh! How happy the queen would be,
看到我這樣勤勞的蜜蜂.
Had she seen such a busy bee like me.

A white horse at grass loosely.
向我暼過來一眼,
Glanced over me,
牠悠閒漫步.
He Walked leisurely.
白馬的確迷人.
White horse sure is fascinating.
然而, 農婦和她的白馬王子
However, Nung-foo and her Prince Charming
已經老的無夢了.
Are too old to dream of anything.

He didn't feel like taking any milk at all. 害怕失去生金蛋鵝,
Afraid of losing the goose that lay golden eggs, 我憂慮擔心添多少.
I worried about him much more than before.
明星家庭真辛苦!
It's really hard to have a celebrity in the family!

Paparazzi hiding behind the tree.  搶鏡頭.

三月二日 星期日 晨霜後晴多雲 據說,墨西哥小雞"Pio!Pio!"叫, 不像美國小雞"Peep! Peep!"叫.
They say that chicks in Maxico say "Pio! Pio!" instead of "Peep! Peep!" in the States.
中國小雞都是啾啾啾的叫.
While Chinese chicks always say "Chew! Chew! Chew!". 差別可真大!
