核桃樹 walnut tree

核桃樹又高又大, 枝葉茂盛, 下面有鞦韆.
走過核桃樹, 我喜愛多盪幾下鞦韆. 彌補小時搶不到鞦韆的失望.
秋風把核桃樹葉吹落一地. 有些核桃果還掛在樹上, 有些果子也隨風掉落地.
我撿拾核桃果, 剝除青綠外皮, 留下果子.
得空, 將殼敲碎, 取出果肉. 敲得手指出血, 才知市場小小一包核桃碎仁的售價尚稱公道.
用自家核桃碎仁做蛋糕, 可是本農場高檔食品呢!


農家食譜----簡易核桃蛋糕
材料--超市購買調配好的蛋糕粉cake mix一包, 口味隨意. 核桃碎仁或多或少.
做法--按市售蛋糕粉指示攪拌, 除將奶油butter更換為沙拉油.
       最後加入核桃碎仁, 稍拌, 倒入烤盤.
       送入烤箱, 按時取出.

I never knew the look of a walnut fruit, nor the walnut tree. You have a huge walnut tree, wonder how huge was the crop?

This huge walnut tree is originally started from a seed. It takes about 10 years to yield good crop for a seedling. Last year we had 6 or 7 walnut fruits. This year a lot more than that. We are expecting more and more later on.
