Asian donations to sponsor U.S. president campaign can be shared with Democratic and Republican Parties. Why do the two parties reject? Can someone explain?
Dear Ms Tiao: May I join you in discussing the word "oriental"? We don't use this word often now because when we talk about the East, we speak more specificlly, a country or people. In the past, when the Western people didn't know too much about the East, in general, they use the word--oriental. I remember when I was at graduate school in NYC, my professor once said to the class:"You oriental people are good at math." He said so because we had Chinese, Japanese, Turkish and Korean students in the class. The word oriental is an opposite expression to the word occidental. Therefore, I agree with Mr A's comment--"I don't believe the word oriental is indecent." Thank you.
African Americans like to be called black, not negro.
Old Chinamen wouldn't being called orientals.
Young Asian Americans relate the word "oriental" to "negro".
Whether you are a naturalized or ABC, you're all chiamericans.

Egg Fuyan: there are too much MSG in Chinese food, which will cause flashes and maybe even cancer.
The sources of Asian donations may be questionable, or may be from illegal aliens, or criminals.
Hillary charged $1000 for a photo with her. But she was burned once by Mr. Hsu and had to return the money.

" the sources of Asian donations may be questionable" ? Are those non-Asian lobbyists who donate big money clean?
Today Asians don't call themselves " oriental" anymore. It's not a decent term.

“ oriental ”一詞的確已不適用。那是昔日殖民帝國時期, 西方人以其居高臨下的視點, 對亞洲人的稱謂,帶著鄙視。故今人應揚棄。
